Those four are a minimum. Those are what the MSM's got going so far.

And I think she needs to give a really good explanation of her international experience and how everything she's done so far qualifies her for the presidency.

covering all these questions, so maybe a speech.

I think that we might find out on Wednesday night. She is in the hot seat now, and it is not simply because the democrats are questioning McCain's judgement in selecting her.

She can't avoid all questions that the public and press are raising by resorting to McCain's former POW status. If she avoids all the controversy, she looks out of touch. If she acknowledges that there are serious questions about her, she appears wounded.

To paraphrase Woody Allen, she is at a crossroads: one path leads to a humiliating defeat, and the other to the total self-destruction of the republican ticket. Let us hope she has the wisdom to choose correctly.

9. Yes and no.

It's really not .... the McCain campaign is going to try to put words into her mouth. But I think that there is a very good chance that she views herself as so special, that she will attempt to add her own flavor to her public performances. And while there are significant differences between the present situation and the McGovern-Eagleton example from 1972, it was when Eagleton began speaking on his own that the democratic ticket became damaged beyond any hope for repair.
