They call it a 'bounce' because it's temporary. Kerry is where he was probably going to be in the polls on this date no matter what. I was pleasently suprised by how slight the damage was from the Swift Liars, and I think the negatives for Bush still have some life. They will have a hard time preventing discussion of paid abortions or drug arrests now. (Appeals to decency or journalistic ethics would provoke nothing but laughter.
