1. He was one of the only people who stayed focused that Friday
Discussed the speech part by part and didn't spend much time on the Palin thing.

2. Why the disparaging tone? Matthews is absolutely right to focus on Obama.
WTH cares about Palin? MSM has blithered enough about her.

10. Yeah, saw that --- guess he HAD to cover her but at least he didn't start off with her
MTP devoted the entire show to the Palin choice -- too bad no one mentioned her ethics investigation
but they did focus on her lack of experience and extreme conservative creds.

5. I'm sorry-Pixels are limited. I'm relieved that Tweety's man crush continues.
And the sum balance on Palin is that she's cute, but she's a joke.

So, this is good.

9. I find the phrase "man crush" disparaging. Why not respect Matthews for admiring Obama?
As for Palin, she is about as "cute" as only a lying, charming Republican dictatorial sociopath can be.

11. Your phrase 'Man Crush'
is very disparaging and has a touch of cynicism in them,
its a loaded word and has just out your innermost feelings,

just saying....

13. I didn't coin it. This has been ascribed to Tweety before.
When you follow matthews, and I've watched him live, he seems to float in the prevailing winds. But sometimes, he falls for someone and he really goes for it.

I never said it was a bad thing.

6. Great "Q of the day: Will McGramp's temperament be an issue in the campaign?"
I think we can count on Tweety for the next 8 weeks.

7. Are you watching the same show as I am?
I'm watching Matthews now and it's all about how much of a maverick John McCain is for picking another maverick. The whole display is pathetic. Can you imagine the hand wringing if Obama pulled such a move? It would be nowhere near this level of a lovefest.

8. Tweety ended with a great image of the end of the Gladiator when
the Gladiator motions to Ceasar to come down out of the stands and face him on the ground. Obama was the Gladiator.

The Judgement-Temperament question was answered that Gramps has an anger problem and hopefully will unleash it in the debates.
