Palin has never been on the national stage
It takes some chops to navigate the type of attention that's now being focused on her. Yes, I'm sure some very rare people can manage it, but it's really rare. And no Obama is not new to the spotlight. He's been smack dab in the middle of it for four years now.

1. THis could prove to be a colassal crumble for the goppers.
I don't think she was fully vetted. I expect skeletons to come out of the closet and dance for the entire country.

2. vetted or not
she's simply never been in the spotlight before. The odds of her making a spectacular blunder are high.

4. Her speciality topics seem to be tying our national security to our dependency on foreign oil.
She's very concerned - more like obsessed with it.

If she sticks to her specialty, she'll pull it off and if the M$M & rethugs surround her with a barrier of protection, like they're doing for mcmaverick, she'll actually seem practical, straightforward and a progressive thinker.

I can see her bringing it up in a debate with Biden now....geez.

3. It seems that she wanted the nod so badly to get her 15 minutes of fame
that she might be willing to hide her skeletons. What she cannot hide is her glaring lack of qualifications to be president and her lightweight record. Obama should treat her with respect, but not kid gloves. She's in big time politics now so if she cannot stand the heat she should have stayed out of the kitchen. I think Americans understand that.

5. I do expect the skeletons to come out of the closet.
Something that a porn mag would go after is what I'm thinking.
