ok I feel kind of sorry for Palin and her family
I dont think this woman has a clue what she just got herself into. She was clearly not vetted properly by mcsames camp and is now about to go through a grinder usually reserved for people that have been vetted over years as they gained in stature before reaching the level she just jumped into.

when this is over her family will have been shredded and she will likely never hold office again. The worst thing she could have done to herself was to accept this nomination.

My opinion at this point is that the pukes are using her simply to get funds from the oil industry and to keep the base from wandering to far off the reservation.

She just stuck herself into a grinder she will never recover from.

The latest Dem ad to come out since announcing Palin is WEAK!

McInsane campaign looks like a page out of Machiavelli playbook!

Obama started with a few jabs in his acceptance speech and blow-by-blow addressed the main party differences. We've got to keep up the heat!

"Be as kind to Palin...." B-SHIT!

10. She sounds evil to me.
She believes in killing wolves with machine guns from helicopters, hid scientific evidence proving that polar bears are endangered, thinks that global warming is a myth, hates gay people, doesn't believe in abortion even in cases of rape and incest, wants creationism taught in schools, belongs to the Assemblies of God which believes in faith healing, speaking in tongues, and the rapture, and appears to be as crooked and unethical as any other Alaskan politician.

Her parents have dead animals all over their walls, Sarah likes to have herself photographed sitting on dead bears, and has a habit of firing police chiefs.

Everybody in her home town seems to hate her and the Alaska state legislature is trying to impeach her. What's not evil?

-The Republicans sure as hell wont be

-Why is she ANY different than Bush/Cheney? Her views are as radical, even moreso. She is a 'whore' for the oil industry just like Bush/Cheney

I see absolutely NO difference in this women than Cheney, NONE.

You know, like someone capable of deciding for themselves if they want to put their family through this. Let's just stand by while the media portrays her as Biden's equal and fawns all over her and tells us what a fantastic choice McCain made picking this bright perky young thing to carry the banner for all the Hillary supporters. Yes, let's all do that. Sheesh!

Come on. She's the Queen Mother for God's sake. By mid-September we'll be led to believe that she is as beloved worldwide as Princess fucking Diana.

Does that mean, the entire country likes her the best? Or the percentage of her supporters in her state is higher than any other? Or could being ranked by Playboy as one of the sexiest politicians do it?

That's just a dumb thing to say.

11. Interesting because when I read the OP I immediately
thought of Diana and how she, young and inexperienced, accepted a "job" with the Royal Family, which proceded to grind her up and ultimately toss her out.

I agree that there will be no vetting process and the corporate whores will try to sell her as the "new and improved" female candidate, but you can only go so far trying to convince the public that a little leaguer is ready to play in the majors. McCain really screwed this one up.

EFF HER.
If she's that stupid, she deserves what's coming to her.

Shit, she may be in JAIL before November if this investigation turns something up juicy.

And, I'm sorry.
She's a rookie.
She is going to do something stupid.
She may already have by doctoring her own Wikipedia page.
Yeah, she did it, something stupid.

McCain, is a stupid old man, clutching to a dream that died in 2000, when "Dubya" fucked him in the ass while Karl Rove held him down.

And he didn't do shit about it.
In fact he continued to let "Dubya" fuck him in the ass, only difference this time around was Karl Rove didn't have to hold him down anymore.

War Hero, Mr. POW just gave it up.
Like the bitch he is.

John McCain.
You Sir, are a Right Wing whore.

I feel bad for her kids, not her husband because he could have talked her out of this or tried his damnedest.

I don't feel bad for Sarah Palin because quite simply, she wants to run us into the ground. Her positions, the ones we even KNOW about, are WORSE than Bush's, WORSE than McCain's. I mean holy hell! She could actually be President. NO way in HELL do I feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for US, for this nation, for being subjected to this absolute FARCE.

And note, my anger isn't directed at you for your opinion... it's directed straight at the Republican Party and Karl Rove for being massive assholes and even making this possible.

27. The sympathy sentiment leaves me amazed
WHY????

Nuttier than Pat Robertson. Knows less than Dubya. Less regard for the Environment than a toxin manufacturer. Total Theocrat.

You need to have some sympathy for America if the GOP gets to hone their new puppet. She should be put on the ballot and then dismembered, if at all possible.
A lot of kids have to deal with much tougher lives because of the Bush/Palin/Cheney/McCain policies, her's will be okay.

If you believe in equality then you believe women should take their lumps, just like the fellas. Nobody holds back on Chimpy for his kids. Nobody holds back on Obama because of his girls. Nobody worried about poor Chelsea trying to grow up in all that mayhem.

Screw Palin, her old man, and the rugrats can toughen up like everyone else's. Screw the Corporate whore media for saying that she shouldn't be beaten up on or bullied. She shouldn't be here if she can be bullied.

NO WAY! Equality is exactly that and Republican nutjobs are lucky to not get kneecapped on sight. She should be auto-disqualified for saying she hasn't thought about Iraq, especially since her son is going to be deployed.

How in the world can you be a freaking Governor and be in a position to have NOT THOUGHT ABOUT IRAQ? That's vapid.
We've been there for five years, you're an empty headed ninny, even as a joe blow citizen if you haven't thought about Iraq.

She is perfectly free to, even now, step down. She doesn't want to. She isn't qualified, she is getting that, but she still wants the spot.

This is the woman who said in her acceptance speech, thanks Hillary, and I will take it from here. You know, finish what you could not.

I don't like Hillary - but this woman isn't fit to be Hillary Clinton's admin assistant. Not even her dog walker. Pah on her. Didn't she not like Hillary's "whining"?

She put herself in the blender and is trying to hit the start button herself - how ridiculou to not hold her accountable. I will feel pity only if and when she acknowledges she isn't fit and over her head, AND STEPS DOWN. If she is taken down, no sympathy at all (which is rapidly coming).
