Anyone else live in an area with zero Obama events this weekend?
I just went to the site and there's nothing happening here.. nada.. I'm in the political wilderness here. I knew it was deep red Florida, but I had no idea just how red it was.

6. Doubtful..
I don't think either give a damn about us here in Florida. It's becoming apparent that they've decided to concede us to McCain.

13. I don't think that's true...
But it's a fair bet they'll concentrate on West Palm/Broward/Miami-Dade.

14. ...
Barackobama.com he lists all the meetings and events, and we're having none.

It's dissapointing that a swing state like Florida has been shunned by the Obama campaign, but eh, oh well..

7. I do
But the Düsseldorf vote counts even less than Democratic wards in Ohio did in 2004,
so I can understand the Obama people concentrating their efforts elsewhere.

10. they're doing voter registrations all over this weekend
if you can't find a local office, try the state office...they need those voter registrations by the end of this weekend, so give it a shot. I had to call the national numbe,r they gave me the state number because there was no office here, and then I hooked up with some great people! also, I've been calling people all day to recruit volunteers, so that's another thing you can do, though it may not be as much fun:-(

I'm in red georgia. though we were blue before diebold made us red. good luck and have fun!
