I saw a clip of Palin's speech. McCain did not look happy!
Did he look happy when he announced her? He looked very uncomfortable to me.

6. Andrea Mitchell said they met one time. I think Chuck Todd said twice. Who knows?
Wierd to pick someone to finish the race with you that you don't even know. Also, they seemed to suggest it was last minute. Wonder if she was thoroughly vetted. The Obama campaign should check her background out really good. Never know..she could have a skeleton or two...

He kept clapping when she said just about anything, to stimulate the audience to clap.

Of course, the clip I saw showed only him and her and her family behind them. Was anyone else there? Where did they hold it? Another supermarket? The Wiener Schnitzel?
