I Thought The Democratic Convention Was Outstanding and Transformational!
I've even heard positive remarks regarding the tone and substance from a fundamentalist co-worker in my office, a long time Bush supporter.

I thought Al Gore rocked as usual and Obama set an exceptionally high bar for the Republicans and McCain to meet.

I also believe the Republican Convention will pale in comparison.

In conclusion, I'm thankful for the Internet and sites like D.U. because I believe in the long run, they will put Obama/Biden over the top as the American People become increasingly enlightened to the critical issues and needed solutions facing us today and tomorrow.

1. Definitely better than the 2004 convention, that's for sure
Obama looks like he's ready to walk into the Oval Office tomorrow.

Our 2008 party platform sucks. Our convention, however, did not. And our next President, Barack Obama, will not.

3. I believe Obama will govern as a wise President
and the convention was just a taste of things to come.

2. It was awesome--could not have been more healing, more unifying, and
more impressive. I have no doubt we'll win now.

4. I agree and I believe healing was the key word.
I also feel more confident in our chances to win in November, I believe there is an awakening going on reflective of the best idealism to come out of the 60s; the unfulfilled aspirations coming to fruition.
