They all look alike in the dark
So John McCain has apparently decided to woo Hillary Clinton's female supporters by insulting them -- and her.

Choosing the anti-choice, ultraconservative Sarah Palin as his VP candidate and expecting her to be an adequate substitute for their candidate says to them, "What??!?!?!? She doesn't have a penis. What more could you c**ts possibly want fercryinoutloud?????"

It says of Senator Clinton that her principles and policies are irrelevant - that the only significant information we need to know about her is what's between her legs.

Hillary wasn't my choice for President, but she deserves more respect than that, as do women in general. One of the truest things Obama said about McBush last night was that he just doesn't get it.

2. All you relly needed to say is in your last 2 sentences.
The rest is bullshit that has NO place here. I don`t think I am the only one deeply offended by your rant.

3. If you are "deeply offended" that I rant at McCain and his misogynistic attitude,
it's not my post that's out of place here. I find him deeply offensive and will continue to say so until this is Republican Underground.

4. You know what I think your post says it all and is more than likely exactly what they would say

5. You don`t find your own rant misogynistic??
Maybe it`s just me,but your rant seems to show a very low opinion of women. That`s just my humble opinion, but it is MY opinion.

6. I think you need to read it again
I was about to go off on you and be as rude to you as you were to me when I saw this and realized you have completely misread my post. Your opinion is based not on anything I actually said, but on what you mistakenly thought I said. That's okay - we all have done that occasionally, especially on these very emotional topics. I know I certainly have. I felt like a fool afterward, but the person I misunderstood was terrific about explaining it to me and forgiving my hasty temper. I'd like to pay that forward if I can.

My OP was complaining about what I feel John McCain is saying to women. I'm not saying anything negative about women - I'm claiming HE is sending that message and I'm saying it's insulting to women.

Does that help?

7. Sorry, if I "jumped the gun".
It was your reference to c*** and "between her legs" that Made me reply to you. I`m a 58-year-old grammy and your words just bothered me. Maybe, I was wrong. Sorry for pre-judging you. I worked with men who talked about women more deragatively than I could even post here. Your words brought thier words back to me. I`m trying to gain a thicker skin. Again, not trying to pick a fight, just a difference of opinion.:hi: I sorry! didn`t mean to get into a dissagreement with a fellow DU`er.

8.  I understand completely! :-)
I've known those men, too, and I truly believe John McCain is one of them. I chose those words (and "they all look alike in the dark") very deliberately because those are the ugly, demeaning ways those men speak of women and McCain's attitude needs to be exposed everywhere. McCain called his own wife a c**t when she merely noticed his thinning hair. Can you imagine how he speaks of women he doesn't supposedly love? He is a pig and should not be allowed to get away with this utterly phony gesture. Selecting Palin was a cynical slap in the face to Senator Clinton and to women in general

9. i like your rant
but I'm like that:-)

and I agree. I was a hillary supporter-- I love what Hillary stands for IN HER POLICIES AND HER ACTION.

this pick, this trophy woman pick, is an INSULT.

I will LEAVE this country if a woman like that is our VP. Can you imagine her running this country? She is bush (read up on her moral and ethical problems)with breasts. That doesn't make her a person who advocates for women. Did they miss that part? WE don't just want breasts in the WH, you morans, we want the policies a woman would care about. MY GOD!

and guess what -- Biden has advocated for us in the Violence against Women Act, so we're all fine here. Go peddle that bs someplace else.

10. There's a pattern to this, and it tends to work.
A few others have mentioned it. Republicans don't tend to "vote in" blacks and women, they tend to cherry pick them and appoint them. It's as if they are saying to the world: see, not all XXXXXXXX's are Democrats! We found one here out in booneysville who puts the C in Conservative.

Republicans gave us the first black Secretary of State, the first black Supreme Court Justice. Every once in a while, a conservative woman decides to run for office just to show the world that not all women with brains are feminists.

To us as democrats, Palin is unpalatable. But to Young Republicans, she may "just the ticket".
