The choice of Palin is an insult to the American electorate.
This is how seriously McCain will take the presidency (if, God forbid, etc.). Just like Bush, every consideration will be political, every decision geared solely to "winning" that day's news cycle. It's more evidence, if we needed it, that Republicans are incapable of governing. They just can't fucking bring themselves to take the job seriously.

2. Could not agree more---
Two years ago, mayor of a tiny remote town and now ready to deal with the entire world. Be afraid, be very afraid!

3. As a woman I feel insulted
She is a lightweight pipsqueak who may have her finger on the red button in the future.

If Obama picked a Dem equal to her, I would have been really pissed off with him. This is not partisan at all.

6. They aren't put in office to govern. That's been the plan for a long time.
McCain and Palin are two people with complete and total lack of respect for the Constitution and the laws governing this country. They will not govern but continue Bush's routine of signing off on legislation that lines the pockets of corps and fat cats and destroys the middle class.

NIGHTMARE.

8. It's almost frightening to think a person with so little experience
would be a heartbeat away from running the country.
