18. Is that the most viewers for US program ever?
I found where some soccer event had the most viewere ever, but I can't find the US data (though I am sure the international viewers are part of that 38 million).

5. That means we should be seeing a pretty nice bounce!
It means that 38 million watched for themselves and don't have to rely on the MSM's spin version of it!

7. He covered everything, too.
It was a perfect intro for voters really looking at him for the first time.

11. The real buzz
will be as word of mouth spreads this bounce, this speech while MSM is off on a totally other gambit ignoring it. Battle engaged. Subtance and democracy over slop.

12. Well all the regular networks were showing it in CO
So there was more stations to spread viewership around. I'm so glad. It was a pretty good speech. The crowds were amazing. PBS played the whole thing.

Now I flipped around but settled on CBS. PBS had the crowds dampened which made it easier to hear but lessened the excitement. CBS I heard Couric's voice in the background but the commentators I didn't recognize. Were they local folks or national? I think FOX had the local guys covering it. Some of the interviewers of attendees looked like they were local newscast folks. I never heard the stupid RW counterattack they usually have at these things. Did the Republicans forego the smearing? Even the commentators were not as bad as they have been in the past. Was it because they were local and actually thought it was pretty cool?

nobody cares

And no one's tuning in to watch Bush and Cheney Monday. Seen it already.
A what's her name on Wednesday.

What else they got?

Nothing.
No draw like our next president, Ted Kennedy or Bill and Hillary Clinton
