My Biggest Fear Didn't Happen: McCain Passed Over Kay Bailey Hutchison.
There are some very pissed off McCain supporters today.

Kay Bailey Hutchison

Joe Lieberman (I didn't see him at the rally)

Mitt Romney

Mike Huckabee

My worst fear was that McCain would pick Kay Bailey Hutchison for in spite of her ties to Enron, she is telegenic and very wise politically and pro-choice. McCain passed her over. Ouch!

McCain's pick today was pandering in the worst possible sense.

His pick was weird. Just weird. And it says a lot about the egomaniac that John McCain is.

Hillary will be on board and help Obama and Biden. Her stock just went through the roof today.

I think McCain's pick is a gift to Obama.

3. That was my biggest fear too.
I couldn't imagine why she wasn't being mentioned more. She would have added dangerous oomph to the ticket and she probably would have peeled away some Hillary leaning independents.

6. SHe is pro-choice? I did not know
Interesting. Also, I think I heard some talking head mention that Hutchinson and McCain profoundly dislike each other.
