2. By saying she was qualified to shatter the glass ceiling Hillary made 15 million cracks in.
Uh-huh. Sure you are, Sara.

3. 18 million, not 15 million
She may do it. Palin was a good choice for McCain. It's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out on the news channels over the weekend. I can't wait to see some polling numbers, see what kind of an effect this is gonna have. Sure did take me by surprise this morning.

13. Why, because I'm moderate and not an extremist?

15. Hi. welcome to
DU.

Sen. Obama has had to move from the left to a more moderate position on many issues. and he will need to stay moderate in order to get anything done with congress---and reach across the isle as he says. its how it works.

4. Her experience as a governor will be an asset. The
way I look at it, Hillary did put a big crack in the glass ceiling. Now other women can attempt to actually get through.

But Sara's will only be the vp crack.

10. Yes, we've all seen how Bush's experience as governor was an asset.
She was chosen by McCain to be nothing but window dressing. Her glass ceiling remark is nothing but a slam against Hillary.

14. Smirkface is a terrible abberation. Generally, when
candidates choose a governor it is an asset to the ticket--on with side. That is all I am saying.

And yes, this was a pure political move by McCain.

7. This clearly demonstrates
a lack of respect for women by the McCain campaign. He never respected Hillary or he would have chosen a capable woman! This is going to engergize the Democratic Party and probably make the Rethugs stay home!
