C'mon, folks.
We've got tens of thousands of posters on this site.
Democracy is not a spectator sport. Click the link above and have the satisfaction of knowing you are doing the right thing and are part of the solution.
I have given hundreds directly to Obama, purchased $500 worth of bumper stickers and buttons that we donated to our local OBAMA headquarters, house Obama volunteers in my home and donate office supplies to our local office. I only donate locally at this point. Those young people are working for free with no supplies and little campaign material. Go figure. You might want to rephrase your request.
I have posted here twice to have people check in on how they are volunteering for Obama in hopes of inspiring others to do the same. As of last week there was a pitiful response. Sorry if I disagree with the phrasing of your request. I am glad that DU is fund raising but we have to acknowledge that some folks have been giving right along on many levels. We also have to wake up some of these folks that think that this election is going to be won or lost by something that is posted here. We have to get them to the streets. I just can't figure out how. peace, Kim
5. In donating money one must make sure one gets your moneys worth
The way it works here in Chicago is you need to get credit with the right people for donating. So I donated through the right person - a bundler. I'm limited for this election cycle.
I suspect that many DU people have donated through their union, so they get proper credit.
These people in the offices are working there butts off! We had a get together last night to watch the festivities and sign up sheets were passed around to volunteer. One signature out of 40+. The office budget is pretty much nonexistent! It is rough our there. peace, Kim
