This has me very worried. It does not bode well for this country

to have one major political party so obviously incompetent. We need two strong parties with good, experienced, accomplished people on both sides. That is what makes democracy work. Here we have a party that has driven to the sidelines its competent people because they are not conservative enough and brought to the forefront incompetents who toe the fundy line. This is not going to be good for US in the long run.
