Did you find yourself smiling when you woke up this morning?

What an amazing speech last night!:bounce: The only thing that would have made it better is if I had had my internet working x( I'm changing IP and of all weeks...:argh:

I've been playing catch up at the library, but NOTHING compares to being able to voice what an AWESOME speech that was, live with other Dems. This was such a memorable night and I found myself so humbled and proud of this amazing man. I was so mesmorized by Obama's speech, that I was numb when he finished! I have never in my forty years, heard such an outstanding speaker! David Gergen was spot on when he said it flowed like a symphony!:applause:

I woke up smiling this morning and for the first time in a long time I really do feel hopeful about our future. I'm meeting with a Obama group tomorrow and we are getting our "marching" orders, because I am ready to get this team in the White House!

:toast:

1. K & R to getting out and working for the ticket
Rove pulled a rabbit out of a hat by going for the neophyte Gov. of Alaska who's biggest weakness is one we can't touch--inexperience. She's a bit of a triple threat: she brings out the Fundies being one herself, she appeals (literally, she's a looker) to the white working class male Rust Belt vote that Obama had just started making headway with, and she brings even more oil money into their campaign. We've got to counter by hammering that economic message home.
