Palin is a creationist
http://scienceblogs.com/afarensis/2006/10/27/intelligent_design_and_the_ala/

Just throwing that out there too. She's a pro-life, anti-gay, creationist with 2 years part-time executive experience with one of the smallest state governments in the country which has practically no agriculture or urban issues. 3 years ago she was a part-time mayor of a town of 6,000.

5. But God will not just give us the rapture.
You gotta work really hard to trash the place so that God will reward you with salvation for so doing.

Argh...

6. God already gave us solar power
Man hears a flood is coming. A neighbor shows up in a car and tells the guy to get in, they're heading to higher ground. The man declines, and says that god will save him. the flood waters rise and he goes to the second floor of his house. A man in a boat comes by and says "get in" and he declines and says that god will save him. the flood waters rise and he gets on the roof, a helicopter comes by and drops a rope and tells him to climb up. He declines and says that god will save him. The flood waters rise and he drowns. He shows up in heaven and asks God "Why didn't you save me?" God says "I sent you a car, a boat, a helicopter, what else do you want from me?"

The sun is there. The wind is there. Clean renewable energy is there ripe for the taking. There is NO reason not to take it. We can't go to heaven and say "God why didn't you provide our planet with any kind of clean and renewable power source." because God would say "What are you talking about? I sent you the sun, the wind, the oceans, the rivers...."

10. She believes in teaching ID. The Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebellious
can crucify her on this because of what ID threatened to do to Kansas students (dumbing down).

11. This is good
because McCain obviously chose Palin to appeal to wingnuts. He's going after the base, which will limit his appeal to moderates and independents. That's a sign he's desperate.

This is a good issue to use to back McCain up against a wall. Get him to clarify his views on creationism.

26. This brings him totally back in line with the Rebublican party
Jesus, just telling the members of the general public who aren't right wing loons that McCain's possible successor believes creationism should be taught in school should swing the election right there.

17. Is she really anti-gay?
I know for sure that she's anti gay-marriage. But I'm having trouble finding her position on civil unions.

Anyone?
