My take: Palin pick shows GOP knows this is Dole 1996 all over again
They know they're about to get their asses handed to them in a big way, and don't want to risk any possible future prospects. Palin is an expendable nobody.

I'm not one bit scared of this pick. She is, as Skinner rightly pointed out in another thread, a "hail mary" pass. Their experience argument is gone, and once the MSM salivating gets old, women will see her for what she is: an insult to them.

McSame would have been better off with Michael Palin.

We're going to win this 332 electoral votes to 217.

They're holding back and will run Romney in 2012 against Obama.

Look for a Romney/Jeb Bush ticket in 2012.
