Attention Sarah: The right to choose is the protection for your or any woman's choice
You have a child with a horrible disease. You made your choice to have your child. It's was your choice, made by you with advice from people you chose to revive advice from.

For all the conservative talk about government involvement in our lives your belief that the government has a role to play in it's citizens reproduction is by far the biggest affront to true conservative philosophy. Your's is especially heinous, if you think the government has an interest in pregnancies, what interest do you think the government should have had in yours? What about a poor woman in the same position you were in? Would a future government with the right to intervene in reproduction be something to be trusted. Does your fear of "activist" courts not set off a bell in your head were the government to have this interest established?

I bet you see and decry a slippery slope any time any gun restrictions are proposed, yet your willingness to grease the slippery slope to the possibility of the government choosing which children are born and which are not shows true blindness to freedom and human rights.
