Fox: "Sarah Palin Seen as GOP Rising Star"

The REAL headline today: "McCain concedes election".

I'm trying to imagine the VP debate between her & Biden. Or McCain answering the question that he thinks she is the most qualified to be "ready on day one" should something happen to him.

I mean: C'mon! Tell me this looks like anything but "desperate".

3. I guess I'm a rising star in the Democratic Party
You know, since I'm a member of my local party and plan on running for office in a couple years. Plus, I have more executive experience (in business and international commerce) than Ms. Palin.

They set the bar so low, but their ace in the hole is having the media run their version of the narrative. That's the only thing that scares me.

7. Bush-I followed Reagan.
Despite picking Quayle, Bush-I followed a popular president and was running against Dukakis.

By contrast, Mc* is following Bush-2 and running opposite someone they describe as "a rockstar".

8. I guess but what rethug's ever heard of her?
Obama just had Kennedy, Clinton, Clinton, Kerry, Gore talk at his convention and pick a long standing well known VP. In contrast McCain has to put 18 %er Cheney up to talk, 20 % Bush out to talk and then introduce his VP pick because 99 % of the people in the room couldn't chose her out of a police line up. Yeah she's a women but most republican voters are so ill informed one wonders if they will even know her gender come election day. Why pick a virtual unknown, coming into a short election cycle with your convention following one of the best Dem conventions ever.
