Post here your favorite DNC movement
I would have to say that for me it was Beau Biden - when he introduced his father. Joe & Jill raised themselves 3 wonderful children and those kids all hit the genetic jackpot (along with the Biden grandkids and Obama's kids).

But another moment that I loved was after Obama was done and all the families came out on stage - there was one of Biden's grandkids having fun and doing what kids do making friends with one of Obama's kids. That's the world where I want to live where kids are friends with other kids not because of skin color but just because they are kids. Watching those 2 girls frolic on stage gave me hope that we can make a difference.

3. So many great moments! I can't pick just one
I've seen a lot of Democratic conventions, but this one was by far the best. They hit it out of the park this time!

:toast: :yourock: :bounce: :woohoo:

6. Oops. I assume you mean moment.
Got to think about it. Really loved Kerry's speech, though. And Hillary knocked it out of the park.

But the high point had to be Barack.

8. I like how Obama and the Democrats shut the media's craven mouths
in 4 swift days' time.

And after that address last night, Obama left nothing for them to pick over.

He blew his critics away.

11. Hi, LynneSin. Great post, by the way.
Yes. Even Ol' Pat had to acknowledge a winning event when he saw one.

9. Besides last night's speech? Hillary stopping the roll call and calling for the vote by acclimation.
I have to say, that was my favorite moment.

14. Mine was
"Daddy - What city are you in tonight?"

I just related to that little kid - excited to see her dad who was living the traveling life for the good of his family. The AMERICAN FAMILY! :-)
