Who here has plans to watch the Republican Convention?
I do not. I have been around enough Republicans in real life, and don't feel the need to watch them in a large group on TV.

I don't even think the republicans will watch it, what about those Repig Senators will have other plans not to attend.

5. I will probably watch ...
until I start vomiting. I'm guessing that will be shortly after it starts and Fox News begins their love-in.

6. Not one second. The TV will be turned off and I'm going to try to stay away from my laptop.
Next week will be a great time to man the phone banks and put our boots on the ground.

Not sure how much I'll be able to stomach, though.

13. I will watch as much as I can
I am looking forward to watching the enormous difference between ours and theirs...
and I like to see and hear for myself the shit they are slinging.

I watch as much as I can before I get a pounding headache.

15. Nope
I'll be back home visiting my parents -

And you have a better chance of seeing God in the next five minutes than you do of Ma and Pa JustAnotherGen allowing Republicans to invade their home via the Television. Every time McSame or his supporters says something nasty about Obama - my mom tells my dad "Give him another $50!" Seriously.

There's an Obama Special Interest Group. Ma and Pa JustAnotherGen? We're going to find out were the single largest 'special interest group giver to the Obama Campaign'. And it's McSame's fault. Those two old liberal, lefty, progressives? He's gotten their hot tempers up - and their big wallet out!

Thank you Mom and Dad! :pals:

18. May check it out if I need my belief in human capacity for reason shaken.
I've watched the GOP convention in 2004 for 5 minutes, listened to Limpballs for two minutes, and tuned in to FOXNews twice. It's sooner brush my teeth with a carving knife. Listening to that stuff doesn't even get me feeling energized like "We're GOT to defeat these goons." It's utterly enervating, demoralizing, exhausting to try to keep up with the fallacious logic.

I know few Republicans, but they're all the "old-fashioned values" kind, and they're all supporting Obama.
