Did Last Night REALLY Happen?
Wow - it's like I had sex with the hottest girl ever - and then the next morning you can't believe it.

Yes - I insisted the host change to CSPAN - he loved it
I don't need someone to tell me what I just saw.

7. I saw the speech this morning. I was...dazzled, for lack of a better word.
I didn't, I'm sorry to say, see it last night.

But damn, I did watch it today via talkingpointsmemo. That speech was the finest speech I've ever heard by a Presidential nominee in my lifetime. I kept saying to myself, "damn, he's good".

I am trying NOT to get into the "it's over" mindset. But, I can't keep myself from saying it...we saw the 44th President of the United States last night.

8. We were at a watch party here in Durham
Triana, Struggle4Progress and I were at a watch party at a cafe here in Durham. It was good except we were a anxious because the cafe inadvertently scheduled a folk singer to play last night too.

So this packed coffee house, I'm guessing upwards of 500 people, waiting to hear Barack Obama and Co, had to listen to this guy play for an hour. He was pretty good and I felt kinda sorry for him. We missed Al Gore's speech. x(

But as promised at 9:30 they switched over to Invesco. :D

Happy Happy Joy Joy!

I was actually wiped out after that speech, very emotional.

9. you know it's funny does anyone remember when
in 2004 Obama spoke at the Democratic Convention in Boston, I said to myself after hearing his speech someday that man will be President. I hope my premonition comes true.
