why is there so little mention of Cheney in this campaign?
Because the policies McCain is supporting are really Cheney's policies, and Cheney's popularity is in the Dumpster.

Why aren't they linking McCain to Cheney-Bush instead of just Bush?

3. imo, not necessary. Cheney is a cartoon that thrives off his unpopularity
bashing him does nothing but tying McClown to Bush who is the more visible more disastrous to the senses partner in crime is more useful imo.

6. I can't figure it out - but
I couldn't figure out why the Dems were so light on the McCain criticism. That became clear tonight and Obama never called him a friend or Great American, he only praised his service. That was by design.

Something tells me there is a very good reason of not playing the Cheney card and we will find out and then understand the brilliance.

Think about it, Obama's weakness was reported as him being too kind, doesn't punch back. Then tonight he set his jaw and slammed the shit out of McCain. Now he is seen as one tough and focused competitor.

So be patient, the Cheney ass whopping will be delivered.
