Prepare for the slap in the face tomorrow. The RW media machine
will diminish tonight's legendary speech. Don't be disappointed. WOM. Blogging. Keep the magic alive.

1. You know what though, millions of people watched tonight, i think they'll believe
their own ears over the media. Of course they all won't but many will, i bet this speech got huge numbers.

4. I'm thinking of the millions more who didn't watch. They need to know
the truth. They need to be pointed to videos to view it for themselves.

2. Who cares, it's the Friday before Labor Day
no one will read the papers or watch the news except for the weather and festival listings...except for political junkies like us and we know what happened...we actually saw it..

3. Yeah blog but do much more
Write a letter to your local newspaper editorial. Something small and simple.

Call a local talk radio show. Just state a few reason why you liked the speech and why you are voting BO.

Give an extra $50 or $100 to Obama.

Email a local TV newsroom or hit up a few online polls and give your thoughts.

Tell your friends and family why you loved Obama's speech and try to get just one person to either vote Obama or register to vote (and of course vote for Obama.)

Get an Obama bumper sticker and slap it on your car.

Get a yard sign and stick it in the yard.

20. Someone told me he's a Republican---but he's not
He said on the program he's an Independent. That explains---I actually thought he was a Democrat, but he didn't seem to be on our side either.

19. I'm watching it at this very moment---Did you see Larry King get pissed off?
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 11:39 PM by goodgd_yall
When his guests were complaining the Obama never mentioned 9/11 and then started to blame the Clinton administration for it happening. Larry King said, wait a minute it happened on Bush's watch. They were trying to "explain" how it was Clinton's fault. Larry lost it and "Ok, you know more than I. I'm an independent. You were interviewing them while they were flying the planes, right. Well, they're dead! We don't know what happened." And then he changed the subject.

flowers in their gun barrels. He hit almost every point the have been trying to make.

16. When our team had SRO at a stadium that seat 85,000
and theirs can't give away tickets for a theatre that seats 1500, I don't think we have that big of a problem. The piggies were talking of busing people in from neighboring states.

I have a dear friend with whom I speak at least once every single day who lives in a southern state. He works for a call center that does a lot of polling for the pubs. One of the things they do is try to fill seats for McKook. For every project so far, they make an average of 17,000 calls. Over 99% of them, when the respondents find out that they get free tickets to see John McCain have one of two responses: they either hang up immediately upon finding out or say "kiss my ass" or something to that effect.

The real, on-the-ground numbers aren't in the piggies' favor. The only way to get control of the Oval and Congress is to vote in cheat-proof numbers and verify.

Don't worry about the spin. We coo'. Ignore the noise, keep your head on your shoulders and make sure everyone else does the same.
