The "NEW" theme of Dean campaign on Clark
As stated on Hardball today , they want to leak out as fast as they can that they expect Clark to come in second, to lessen the great accomplishment it is. As seen here already by some posts , those involved are following in kind!

5. Clark's performance in NH will depend on Kerry's Iowa showing
It will have little to do with Clark, as evidenced by his stagnant NH poll numbers. If Kerry does better than expected in Iowa then Clark will take a hit in NH. If Kerry tanks in Iowa then Clark will pick up some momentum.

7. Detroit Free Press Today In Politics Section
Had a quote of Clark that said" I won't except the Vp on a Democratic ticket". Don't know if they were inplying he was open to a Republican ticket or not. Funny the way it was stated. Wouldn't that be a knee knocker?

10. He just announced a progressive tax cut
and spent this evening defending Bill Clinton and trashing CheneyCo on Hardball. When are you going to drop this juvenile Repug nonsense on Clark?

12. Nothing Like Moving The Goal Posts. Just Shows Clark Can Out Perform Dean
considering the handicaps Wes had starting and moving foward now.

In four months Clark:

Matched his fundraising.
Is tied or close in many polls
Has more Policy Positons which are also more detailed
Fewer gaffes and campaign mistakes.

When you have an innate capacity for achieving excellence like Wes... you can do more with less.

21. "Matched Dean's fund raising"? LOL!
Now it's true I've not been in a math class for many years, but if memory serves, 12 million does not equal 40 million!

Nice effort though. Be sure and check the facts next time.
