Chris Matthews when Olbermann praised Obama's speech, saying he had nothing to criticize, and asked Chris if HE had anything to criticize. :bounce:

1. I think Tweety has returned to his youthful Democratic roots
The guy wrote speeches for Jimmy Carter, remember.
He's probably been eating his heart out for years,
listening to people criticize him ... and now he
can COME HOME.

9. He passed President Carter a note on the set night before last. It said...
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 10:30 PM by democrat2thecore
"The biggest honor in my life was working for you, Mr. President."

You could hear Carter respond on the air, "Thank you, thank you, Chris."

edit: An MSNBC site producer saw the note in Carter's hand after he walked off the set.

8. I heard Matthews say that and almost thought I was dreaming ....
Matthews was clearly and visibly moved by Obama's speech.
