Teresa Heinz Kerry wants to meet Dr. Steinberg Dean
john kerry and his wife were on paula zahn's show. teresa said she would like to meet dean's wife because she is a doctor, and teresa is interested in medical issues. i think her father was a doctor. she says she is jealous mrs.dean is a doctor and she isn't. they were asked if they would support dean if he gets the nomination. kerry said he always supports whoever the nominee is. teresa said she would like to meet howard dean, and especially his wife.

the interview showed what a great woman she is and how lucky kerry is to be married to her. she has a great sense of humor. when asked about her financial help to her husband, she said she also supports him with her brains and heart. she also misses the time they spend together before the campaign.

1. I'm sure she's a nice lady. But her husband will not make a good prez
I see those as two completely unrelated issues.

4. Right, becuz the guy who exposed more govt. corruption than ANY other
lawmaker and who helped END 3 wars would not make a good president, but a charlatan who conned his way into the lead with the complicity of the media would?

That's some standard you have.

8. Helped end 3 wars?
My you seem to have an inflated opinion of Mr. Kerry. How many wars did he help start?

11. I've said it since last spring when I first noticed.
There is no "now" about it.

Frank Luntz started hawking Dean at that time. YOU can trust Luntz' word. Really.

18. Neither the media nor Rove helped Dean break Clinton's fundraising record
That was Dean's supporters who helped Dean win the 2nd QTR fundraising battle and generate the media's attention. It was Dean's supporters who helped Dean break Clinton's fundraising record, a record set in 1996 when Clinton was a sitting Prez, and we helped Dean break that record not only once, but twice in the same year.

Dean's supporters gave Dean the funds to use and Dean has used them wisely to generate more media attention to our campaign.

Kerry had to mortagage his $6 million home to stay in the race. Dean just had to ask us, his supporters, for the funds to not only take on his Dem contenders but also Bush. Dean has the lead in the Dem Prez race because he empowered with his supporters to help further our campaign.

The post was about Mrs. Kerry wanting to meet Mrs. Dean, why the comment "But her husband will not make a good prez"?

14. Some people can't help themselves
and John Kerry would make a great president. It's hard to argue otherwise.

12. Teresa Rocks

I've heard her speak, and she is very knowledgeable on medical issues. She reads medical studies and reports - she weaves the scientific evidence together with society and culture - really something.

She remarked at how she continues to be amazed that so many Americans don't vote - contrasting our right to vote with her childhood.

13. yeah
her speech when campaigning for her husband was very original. you hear the usual stuff which is good, but gets repeated. but she speaks a lot from personal experience when it comes our freedoms and so many other things.

15. Teresa's father was a bush doctor in Mozambique;she speaks 5 languages.
I like the fact that Teresa said Dean would have to answer some questions when Zahn asked if she would support Dean, if he wins nomination. The woman is a genuine straight talker, although she is indeed shy at the same time.

Teresa seemed a bit wary of Paula "BFEE enabler" Zahn who asked gotcha questions, but Teresa deflected them well. Kerry looked relaxed being with Teresa; you can tell they love and respect one another a great deal.

What an extraordinary first lady Teresa Heinz Kerry would make!

17. paula zahn is not informed
but she is one of the few reporters who does have kerry on from time to time. she usually doesn't know about the issues though, but kerry always does a good job of focusing on the important issues anyways.

19. I'm sure the Dean's and the Kerry's can become good friends
If Dean is elected he will need to have Kerry working for his agenda in the Senate.

20. I find this kind of sad
she says she is jealous mrs.dean is a doctor and she isn't.

It isn't like Ms. Heinz couldn't have gone to medical school had she so chosen. I know it is a little thing and she probably overstated what she feels but it still strikes me as a little sad. She should have persued her dream if that is what it was.

21. it was in a joking kind of way
it was more like she was admiring her for being a doctor and then jokingly says something like "and i'm jealous of her for it". it was actually a nice comment if you heard it yourself.
