11. I was just thinking about why I'm so emotional

1. Tears of joy.

2. I had no idea I had so much pent up emotion, even though I knew Obama was the nominee for many months.

3. A black candidate was officially nominated.

4. HRC did an incredible thing.

I've finally (almost) stopped crying. I was watching the Roll Call from the beginning with excitement, and got more excited when HRC came out. When she started speaking and calling for acclamation, I just started to tear up, and then full on cry.

This has been a really emotional day for me. Del Martin died today. In her honor I sent money as she wanted to fight Prop 8. I am PROUD to support Obama. PLUS I had to talk my best friend ... who's a big Hillary supporter as I am ... to really think about it. The Supreme COURT! That broke the ice.
