She has relatives all over our state! What a warm, personable--and sharp person she is!
http://blog.johnkerry.com/ After buying a basket of food, we walked down the strip mall and met with other shop owners. Everyone was cordial, even a fellow who supported Bush --
except one young fellow who just couldn't help himself. "I'm for Bush," he said. That's fine, I answered, but you might want to look at Kerry's plans for your college education. His reponse? "I like war." I just shook my head, said, "well, then, you've got your guy," and went into Irene's Florist where they were waiting for me with a gift of a bouquet of roses.
It's quite a ride out there, folks. It feels so good, despite the occasional contrarian, that I am convinced we will all be celebrating in November.
So tomorrow it is Tampa and a visit from my sister who lives in Bradenton then home to kids, to wash my clothes, and get back out on the road. See you there.
