Sign petition to media: Ask McCain to take an Alzheimer's test!
Dear DU Activists:

I have just read and signed the petition: "McCain Owes America An Alzheimer's Test."
My Dad and both Grandmothers died of Alzheimer's, and McCain clearly has the signs. He forgets questions and forgets answers he should know on a regular basis. He couldn't even remember how many houses he owns!

Alzheimer's makes people not only forgetful, but short-tempered and delusional. Dad suffered flashbacks and hallucinations. A very high percentage of people over 70 have the early stages of dementia, so this is something we should all take seriously. Do you want someone who may have these symptoms to be deciding whether we should go to war or having the power to launch a nuclear attack?

Please join me in signing the petition. It takes just 30 seconds, but can truly make a difference. Democrats.com is trying to reach 100000 signatures - please sign here:

Once you have signed, you can help even more by forwarding this and asking asking your friends and family to sign as well.

Then kick this thread so everyone will see it and sign!

4. I agree that he should get a psychological work-up, but
the only "test" for Alzheimer's disease I am aware of is a post-mortem brain biopsy. That's asking a bit much.
