5. To be honest, it never made sense to me....
From a media perspective. He already performed at the end of the 2004 campaign on pre election night in Cleveland Ohio.

8. Hope he does some concerts like last time, maybe in PA and Ohio
He gave great speeches before the concerts for Kerry. He gives a better Democratic pitch than all but 2 or 3 of tonight's speakers. And he's The Boss.

I actually didn't think it made sense for the acceptance night - if he played before, it would be detracting from Obama's speech, and if he played after it would be anti-climactic.
