8. Please, I take care of my 11 year old niece after work
until her Dad gets home. If anything from HSM is played anywhere near Obama,I'm done watching the elections.I hear enough of that around here already!

And bring back all of those happy days
Put your troubles down
It's time to celebrate..."

14. Remember Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign song?
Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow)"

One morning as I was getting ready for work, the song came on the radio. My daughter, then five, came running into the room just beaming. "Mommy!" she said. "It's the Bill Clin-tin song!"

She doesn't remember doing that. :D

"If I Can Dream" would be my pick. Written after the Martin Luther King assassination as a tribute. Performed by Elvis Presley in 1968 (not the bloated 70's Vegas Elvis).

Nice montage with the Kennedys and MLK at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FKuVW1gGRk

If I Can Dream lyrics:

There must be lights burning brighter somewhere
Got to be birds flying higher in a sky more blue
If I can dream of a better land
Where all my brothers walk hand in hand
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true

There must be peace and understanding sometime
Strong winds of promise that will blow away
All the doubt and fear
If I can dream of a warmer sun
Where hope keeps shining on everyone
Tell me why, oh why, oh why won't that sun appear

We're lost in a cloud
With too much rain
We're trapped in a world
That's troubled with pain
But as long as a man
Has the strength to dream
He can redeem his soul and fly

Deep in my heart there's a trembling question
Still I am sure that the answers gonna come somehow
Out there in the dark, there's a beckoning candle
And while I can think, while I can talk
While I can stand, while I can walk
While I can dream, please let my dream
Come true, right now
