How Much Of Bump Will McCain Get From Big Media's GOP Talkingpoint Fest With The DNC As A Backdrop?

You think and try to watch the DNC. However, you can't. CNN and Fox just show the convention in the background, but just talk over or shut out the speakers, and instead, interview various members of the GOP. If such a GOP politician is not present, then they just repeat the talking points themselves about either:

1. Is Obama ready to be President?
2. Will Hillary supporters vote for Obama or McCain?

For example, tonight, Rendell tears into McCain and his voting record, then CNN cuts it off to interview Rudy Giulani. I had to switch to MSNBC to get the rest of Rendell's speech.

So, I hate to say it, but I think McCain is going to get a big huge bump at the end of this week, because no Democrats are being shown at the fucking DNC convention. The DNC Convention is just prop as CNN and Fox News spend hour after hour ripping on the Democrats, and talking over the speeches even during an important speech, like Ed Rendell, the governor of the swingstate, Pennsylvania.

Maybe I was wrong about this election being our last chance to protect our Democracy from Big Media.

Perhaps it is already too late. Big Media has already won. Democracy requires an informed citizenry, and all we have are five distributors of GOP propaganda:

1. Many!
That's what the Dem Convention is for, right? To give the opponent a backdrop paid for by the Dems.

2. Its The Freakin DNC and CNN Is A GOP-Fest
And I am not even bothering to peak at Fox News. I listened to Casey's speech, for example, and it was quite good. Casey had this great line about turning McBush's four more years to just four more months that had people chanting. I only wonder whether anyone who was watching the networks actually got to hear the speech due to all the punditry. Then, every so often, a pundit asks why are they talking about _______." Of course, if the pundits shut up for a moment, the audience would reconize that is what they are talking about.
