Bond: Obama-Biden "most liberal ticket EVER"
The republicans are scrapping the bottom of the barrel. They've run out of "tricks". Now they're back to "liberal" is a dirty word.

<1) Obama-Biden is the most liberal ticket in American history. His exact words: "By choosing Joe Biden, Barack Obama has solidified the title as the most liberal ticket ever to be put forward by the Democratic Party."

Obama, he said, has been rated by the National Journal as the most liberal senator and Biden the third-most liberal.>

<2) The Biden selection will have almost zero impact on McCain's thinking about who his veep should be, Bond said. In fact, he called the pick of Biden a "non-factor" in McCain's choice.

"I don't think Joe Biden presents any challenges that Senator McCain can't meet by himself.">

2. That's just not true. This is not a progressive ticket.
FDR: Nope. Bond must have missed LBJ in '64, Mondale-Ferraro '84, Dukakis '88...
ER: Not quite, but I'm still looking forward to going to Denver. Let's go!

7. Good point
They just keep recycling the same old crap - "Hmmmm, well this worked in '88, lets try it again." No imagination whatsoever. And the zombies who vote them don't even realize its the same tired fare.

5. It might be a "non factor", but he said

and I quote; In an interview with CBS on Sunday, McCain said, "Joe and I have been friends for many, many years, and we know each other very well, and so I think he's made a very wise selection."

"I know that Joe will campaign well for Senator Obama, and so I think he's going to be very formidable... Obviously, Joe and I have been on different philosophical sides, but we have been - I consider him a good friend and good man," he added.

9. I'm pretty sure Lieberman was on the 'most liberal' list in 2000.
It would be pretty damned funny if McCain nominates him as VP.
