Seriously, I am wondering how many of those people shouting and chanting and causing multiple disruptions around Denver are really Democrats at all.

Are we witnessing an 'Operation: Denver' Republican dirty tricks operation?

But I'm sure the Dittoheads are well represented too.

11. This is seriously pissing me off
This is making ALL women look like whiny little jackasses. Like we need to have some big emotional catharsis tomorrow night, to purge our delicate little souls, to weep and stomp and gnash our teeth until we feel better.

Bullshit!

This media stroking of the poor puma mentality is what is REALLY sexist, that we're some kind of delicate fucking petals whose emotional needs trump common sense and even a sense of courtesy.

This is a tiny fucking fringe of freaks - yes, FREAKS - who need to grow up and stop projecting their own failures on HRC. They're making us, as women, look like complete assholes.

God, I'm steamed.

16. Hillary's supporters excel at making a scene...
During the primaries, if there was a camera, they were there by the busload (literally). But when it came to walking the streets and going door-to-door...nada.

They are ALL about perception.

I don't think so.

ER: You'd think with the Internet people would be better informed.
FDR: People go to the Internet for affirmation, not information, my dear. Let's go to Denver!

23. Sorry, that was my experience. In my many days of canvassing the neighborhoods...
Not a single Hillary volunteer to be found.

But as soon as the primary neared and the cameras started showing up...Hillary supporters started arriving by busload. Not to actually work, but to give the appearance that they were.

44. Not my experience.
Here, when the hard, pavement pounding started, the old Hillary hands were the pack dogs. The fresh, young meat ate the donuts and never showed for the door-to-door. One wanted to know if he could do it from home on his computer.

I don't hold it against all Obama people. You use that broad brush too eagerly. At my headquarters, it's Bizarro DU. Clinton and Obama people getting along just fine. We've got a president to elect. Don't let MSM turn you around.

32. It's just important that we all recognize it for what it is... RATFUCKING.
Edited on Mon Aug-25-08 05:12 PM by VolcanoJen
Republicans aren't interested in governing this nation. They're not interested in ideas, or policy. They are playing a Shirts-vs-Skins pick-up game; their only interest is winning, and they will disrupt and cause chaos to achieve their only goal.

It's not like this is the first time.

Edit: Everyone should read all about "ratfucking" since that's what this is. It even has its own Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratfucking

Be sure to read further by clicking on the names of the classic Watergate players... Segretti, Chapin, Buchanan, et al... and (with all apologies to any DUers who went to USC!) the University of Southern California was the ratfucking epicenter. It's a good history lesson, especially at a moment where you can actually turn on your television and watch history repeat itself, right here, right now.

37. please start thread re this
I've been saying this for months now...these are Rovian/GOP tactics.

This is not a representation of HC supporters.

The moronic way it paints these women should be the final clue.

We have nothing to fear but our own ignorance of their tactics.

We are strong and that is why they are doing this.

Flame me, I don't care, I've been getting it for days now. And frankly, I am slightly disgusted by the amount of smart people who are buying into this bs.

I called the Obama campaign about this today and talked to people at my local HQs. HC put out a statement, went on camera and Obama did too. This is a drama manufactured by people who want us to lose. We are the losers when we buy into it.

this is more than likely a GOP "Operation" to facilitate the perception of major "disunity" at the Democratic Convention, and will more than likely become a post convention GOP talking point for the Hannitys, O'Riellys and Scarboroughs out there in cablevision land.

Though be aware. We here are all loving it...but there is still much work to do, and spurious BS to refute & turn around; republicans aren't going down easy. America isn't near as addicted to oil as they are to the abuse of office & power. And they are prepared to claw their way to the bottom.
