We've arrived downtown and have our credentials

We spent a good part of the day running around trying to find all the places we need to go, but I think we're finally in good shape. The DNCC came through for us big time, we not only got 2 Hall credentials and 1 Perimeter credential, but they got us media packages and two parking passes (which is super clutch, I was not looking forward to trying to find parking).



So far I have seen no signs of protestors of any kind.

We drove by Invesco Field on the way in, where Obama will give his acceptance speech Thursday night.



And here is a shot of the Pepsi Center.



Security has been present but not super-suffocating. I did spot some people dressed in black, with binoculars, on top of some buildings, and there were police officers and secret service around the Pepsi Center. But no sign of National Guard (in 2004 in Boston, I remember seeing a lot of National Guard).

After much running around we found the Big Tent. Here I am outside of it.



And here's the chaotic mess of various bloggers all blasting away on their laptops.



Unfortunately I haven't had anything to eat all day, and the burritos they were serving have disappeared, so I'm now going to go on a quest to find some food. I just spoke with Tygrbright and she is expecting to be here around 4:30.

Tonight, I will be in the Pepsi Center and hopefully able to provide updates from there. However, the DNCC told us that there are a limited number of hard-wired workspaces with internet access, so I'm not sure how successful I'll be in posting from inside. But, I will definitely be posting as soon as I can afterwards and will be sure to post all the pictures that I can.

27. Great pics! Everybody has been talking about not being fed and having to be crammed in with Repubs

Radio talking heads like Miller, Rhodes, and Schultz kept repeating these complaints on XM this
morning and afternoon. They were also giving Republicans an open mic to dis Obama and Biden.

I was like :wtf: It wasn't a good start to the day per Talk Radio row. Sounds like Bloggers are hungry too? Do we need to order you some pizza's or what? Did the DNC not plan well and is it better now?
