Here's what we should do:

Start rumors that troublemakers are going to follow McCain around jingling their keys. Then have a bunch of prominent liberal bloggers and such widely denounce the idea saying things like:

"Torturing McCain because of a psychological sensitivity is wrong. The man is an American patriot and we need to show respect and sympathy for his serious medical issues. It's one thing to attack a candidate's credibility but we should never cross the line into doing things that might seriously endanger a candidate's health and well being. Attacking the psychological fragility of a man who suffered terribly for his country is a losing tactic." etc. :evilgrin:

I'm starting to feel like somebody read that and got a little carried away :tinfoilhat:

4. I think you guys are missing the point.

Somebody mentioned jangling keys around McCain to trigger his PTSD. Then I suggested instead of doing that someone should start a rumor that people are going to do that and that Democrats should prominently denounce it while continually mentioning his PTSD and mental instability. That way we could seem to be taking the high road while subtly floating the idea that he's crazy. This morning I just got a strange feeling that somebody saw my original post and ran with it! :tinfoilhat:
