Hillary responds to McCain camp: "I'm Hillary Clinton, and I do not approve that message."

http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/dailypolitics/2008/08/im-hillary-clinton-and-i-do-no.html

Hillary Clinton thanked her home state supporters and preached a message of unity at the New York delegation breakfast this morning, and while she did not formally say the words "I release you, please vote for Barack Obama on Wednesday," she did urge her home state backers to work hard on his behalf.

"All of you here in New York played such an instrumental role in my campaign," Clinton said. "...Now I ask each and every one of you to work as hard for Barack and Joe Biden as you worked for me."

"...We were not all on the same side as Democrats," Clinton continued. "But we are now. We are united. We are together, and we are determined. Why is this so important? Well, I don't want to live through another Republican administration."

Clinton also addressed John McCain's ad that slams Obama for having "passed over" her in favor of Biden as VP because she was too critical of him and "spoke the truth" during the Democratic primary.

"Now, I understand that the McCain campaign is running ads trying to divide us," Clinton said. "And let me state what I think of those ads: I'm Hillary Clinton, and I do not approve that message."

"Let there be no mistake about it, We're united, and we're united for change. We are, after all, Democrats, so it may take (pause) a while. (Laughter). We're not the fall in line party. We're diverse. Many voices. But make no mistake, we are united. We are united on behalf of the Democcratic Party values we hold dear."

30. Can we just burn the witch? Like we did in Salem?
Females should know their place.

Males like Biden can say what they want, but if females talk, they must be burned.

We should all follow the example set by Paul in the New Testament. Women should keep their fucking mouths shut!

*sarcasm, in case the mods didn't know*

31. Come on - its the 21st century.
Let's think of something less biblical - I think she should be stoned in a football arena.

16. I think that it's great because it's a play on what's said...
by every candidate in his/her ads. I think that people will "get it".

15. I wish Obama would let her do a web ad saying those words.
It would spread like wildfire AND the msm would definitely play it over and over.

If so, Obama should use it in a counter-ad, if it's ok with her.

24. Aren't yu feeling abused by John McCain?
I'm being really, really offended by the McCain campaign using Hillary in their new attack ad. As I see it McCain i seriously abusing and kicking on Hillary, and that is just totally fucked up. In my opinion Hillary MUST respond strongly to this ABUSE of John McCain of her and EVERYONE that voted for Hillary.

I'm confident that Hillary WILL come out strong in response to the ads with an ad with herself calling McCain a liar and tells everyone how much he's abusing her AND/OR do the same strongly in her speech during the convention.

COME ON HILLARY!!! Show us we can trust you and that you will defend us!!! I'm so angry with John McCain brutally abusing everyone that voted for Hillary!!!
