The Latest Celebrity Feud: McCain vs. Madonna
Edited on Sun Aug-24-08 11:22 PM by MetricSystem
It's hilarious that the McCain camp is trying to portray Obama as the celebrity candidate when McCain's the one getting into a celebrity feud. Who does he think he is? Nicole Richie?

***McCain camp lashes 'outrageous' Madonna
Sun Aug 24, 8:44 PM ET

McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds angrily condemned the segment of Madonna's concert in Cardiff on Saturday that appeared to draw a comparison between McCain, Hitler and Zimbabwean strongman Robert Mugabe.

"The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time," Bounds said in a statement reported by Fox News.

"It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."***

McCain's been angry at Madonna ever since she sampled ABBA. He didn't feel she did ABBA justice.

6. to her credit, in spite of all the her talent for the hype and publicity
calculations, madonna is democrat an does a damn good job of defending the rights of artists and their chosen forms of expression, the reproductive rights of women, the rights of gays and lesbians. she's only become more socially and politically conscious as she's gotten older. with the audiences she draws i'd rather have her as a democrat than a republican.

9. I've never heard her called that, but that she's from here is very well-known ...
... among Michiganders. Both Bay City and Rochester Hills take some pride (somewhat perversely by some) in 'owning' her.

10. The question is, what celeb will McCain feud with next? I'm thinking Lindsay Lohan. McCain will use
her as an example of the "homosexual agenda" and, being the "Mean Girl" that he is, he will remark that her career has really hit the skids.

14. I think Madonna should take off her bra
and slap McCain silly with her big *******. That would be the end of that outrage.
