Bumper sticker Roulette
So my Son borrowed our trusty Ford Freestyle (that's the one with the Obama and DU stickers on the rear window) for the weekend for a nice trip to the beach. Everything went well except he got a lot of nasty looks and some people would tailgate him, pass quickly and then cut him off, showing of their Repug stickers in the process. Eight Mile per Gallon Patriots.

Ironically, his Wife is a registered Republican, but their 2-1/2 year old Son is not.

I really see no point in putting them in harms way. So the stickers are coming off.

I despair over what's become of our country. We have radical Islamists, the Russians and who knows who, but mostly we have ourselves as our enemies.

Getting the government back into the hand of the Democrats may be just a small part of the problem.

1. Put stickers on the inside of the rear windows with painter's tape.
Remove them when they use the car.

Or order some magnetic stickers (that's what I have, easy on, easy off).

Bullying, and winning by bullying is centuries old and I hope you'll find ways to have safely for your grandson AND still be able to express yourself!

2. Magnetic stickers are a great idea!
That way when you leave your car you can take 'em off, and not come back to find them defaced.

So sad it has come to this, though.

5. The first stickers offered through the website were magnetic...
It could be that they saw this problem coming and were on top of it.

I have to use my car for work AND I live in hostile territory, so, on and off all the time.

:hi:

3. We have a Vote for Change Car Magnet.
Fortunately for us, I've only had one rude person (and nasty man making the jerk off gesture with his hand, while tailgaiting). Other than that, we've received honks with waves - smiling people, even a few little kids in the back seat waving like crazy with smiling parents in the front seats.

I do live in IL - but the countryside is pretty read here, as well as many larger towns.

4. In WASHINGTON?

Where do you live in Washington? God, that upsets me.

The response you got may be why I see so few Obama bumper stickers where I currently live (small town NC).

7. Washington State is Democratic
in the western cities for the most part but in the rural areas is republican.

6. I bought magnets to put my new bumper stickers on.

There's going to be an Obama/Biden sticker in the middle, with two quotes on either side:

"At a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." -- George Orwell

and

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty or safety." -- Ben Franklin

----

Should get the message across in a relatively intelligent manner. Hopefully they won't get too mauled up, and if they do I can buy more.
