What a crotchity, negative, tight-ass. Makes you really miss Russert.

For once, I thought Pelosi did pretty well.

6. Pelosi shot down at least one snide comment
She just finished saying that Iraq was not closer to political stability. She pointed out 4 ways in which the Iraqi government had long ago promised resolution and not one was fulfilled. Before moving on to the next question Brokaw injected that the surge had in fact worked and that made the government stronger. Pelosi stopped him dead and said something along the lines of, wait a second I just told you that the promised political solutions did not occur ... don't make it sound like it did.

Good job ms. speaker!

7. I can't stand Brokaw. He's a RW shill and he's stupid, to boot.
And he sounds drunk half the time.

9. My words exactly.
I was watching MTP in bed this morning and didn't realize I'd said it aloud until my dog emerged from under the sheet and flounced out of the room. She hates my Sunday morning dialogues with the TV.
