McCain Needs a Game Changing VP Just to Stay Relevant
The week long build up of excitement leading up to the announcement was just brilliant.

I think that Biden compliments Obama so well and makes the ticket so strong that McCain needs to do something dramatic to change the race.

A Romney or a Pawlenty will just be yawners.

If they can convince Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal to attach his sail to McCain's sinking ship, I think that will be his choice.

3. I agree.
McExorcist is the only one who can help his campaign retain respectability. A wonderful pick for many people.

4. What is up with the GOP hype of Jindal?
Jindal's really crazy what with his exorcisms and stuff. Plus, just because he's young and Indian doesn't mean that he'll make McCain look good.

5. He claims experience yet picks an inexperienced governor? I highly doubt it will be Jindal.

11. He doesn't need to reinforce his claim to experience with a VP pick.
There are other things that would stop him from picking Jindal, but I don't think that will be the one.

7. Watch out for Colin Powell....
I wanted him as Obama's VP but if McCain taps him we got serious issues... Dont underestimate his popularity, even among Dems... He's not as tarred and feathered from his Bush years...

9. I thought Colin had some fairly moderate social views.. and lashed out against the run up to war

after leaving his Sec of State position

And I'm not sure about his economic credentials since his claim to fame is as a military man.

I don't think Powell is an option for him, but you are right. If it were Colin we might have a race
