They criticized Obama for not having much experience & then for adding experience
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 06:50 PM by Lex

to the ticket by selecting a long term, experienced Senator, Sen. Biden. (How can that be 'change' they say.)

Talk about damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Sheesh.

1. I've never had qualms about Obama lacking experience.
The guy is extremely intelligent. His picking Biden is a case in point that this man will not have a Group Think administration like Bush does, and that he will surround himself with people he can learn from, and he's strong enough in character to not let disagreements bother him. Thus far, he's shown very good judgment. McCain may be perceived as having experience, but the guy has piss poor judgment on more issues than I can count, not to mention with the people he surrounds himself with.

3. It's always been like that for Obama-- he was gonna get criticized no matter what.
Remember when he had to nix the visit to the troops overseas because of the Pentagon? McCain immediately jumped on him for that, saying it showed how he neglected the troops. Then it came out that he had an ad prepared for if Obama had visited the troops that would have accused Obama of using the troops as campaign tools.

5. You are talking about the GOP. What can you expect? They have no
plan that they can share so it has to be smear. They have to keep their candidate under wraps or he gaffes, but unfortunately for them, they have to let him out every now and then.

6. The MSM has been yammering this too.
(The MSM/Corporate Media is pretty much the same as the GOP these days anyway.)

9. McCain's camp should have thought of a better talking point
Everybody knows that Obama will be viewed as the change candidate even with Biden on the ticket. They need a better talking point to try to get across to the American people.
