Of course the 2nd one is in the detached garage he had converted into a house for his mother.

And of course he has never owned a house in DC

1. How much is the toll
to get from one to the other?

4. I don't mean to be rude but the joke is old and tired
and was listed as one of those bad jokes that seriously has worn out it's welcome ages ago. Here we have this great senator and I wanted to post about how he made sure his mother had a house of her own and that's the best you can do.

You know I adore you, but the joke needs to be retired.

7. I think there's a huge challenge to presenting that old joke in fresh ways...
... but at least it's not as old as "cowbell". ;)

8. The cowbell is a sig-line picture - the tollbooth is something stupid mentioned
anytime someone says Delaware. here a great choice was made for VP and these people keep saying "TOLLBOOTH"

:grr:

11. If I didn't like you & wasn't thrilled that your neighbor got the VP nod
I wouldn't jerk your chain like that. :)

12. Just so you know you're not the only chops I busted
Bad, outdated Toll Booth jokes should be in the lounge, not used to insult a person who had nothing to do with them.

2. I know Biden doesn't own a house in DC, but most Semators do. He does live nearby so it makes
it a little easier to commute home. Now, I think most Senators also know how many houses they own (1 or 2) so that is a little different.

3. Technically Rick Santorum could have done the same thing from PA
but Santorum desired living closer to the Lobbyists.
