Well, NOW we'll get the "straight talk," and not from McCain, either.

Well, NOW we'll get the "straight talk," and not from McCain, either.
Even though I liked all the candidates in the Democratic Primary, I'll admit that Biden probably thrilled me the least of the crowd.

But I'll applaud Senator Obama's choice of him as a running mate, because we now have TWO candidates who are not afraid to speak the truth.

McCain promised us "straight talk," but never delivered on that promise. I get the sense that Obama and Biden WILL deliver straight talk to us.

(Joe, Joe, the hair plugs were unfortunate. But we'll forgive you for looking so silly when you had them done, as long as you go out there and kick some ass. We're counting on you.)

1. So, after they cut his skull open....
he should have just gone bald for the rest of his life? I think mentioning his hair plugs is a cheap shot, given all he went through, and almost died, with his brain aneurysm.

2. My dear Redstone!
I'm sure that Biden will become better and better as time goes on!

He will most certainly kick some ass!

5. Well, I said screw it, I wasn't gong to miss the big Powwow today, so we went and
I walked around, and ate some buffalo, and watched the dancers, bought the little guy a really nice bow (as in bow & arrow). Didn't get a new hat, though; the ones I have are still holding up well.

OK, I'll get to answering your question (and thanks for asking): The leg is still sore, but I was smart enough today to wear my big old honkin uncomfortable knee brace with all the metal stays in it, and my leg does feel better than it did yesterday.

I'm going to be up to my eyes in work tomorrow and Monday, getting ready for my Big Meeting on Tuesday, but I promise that if it's not better after that, I'll call the damn doctor.

You're a good friend.

6. I like that, too. Even if they can't use the phrase in public, it should be their policy.
