So when can one ask Joe Biden how soon he & Obama wll RESTORE bankruptcy protection for average Joe?

The excuse that he needed to do it to work for the "interests" of his state Delaware as a reason for him pushing through the bankruptcy bill no longer are relevant.

I think it is time that progressives hear what the TRUE Joe Biden is. One that made these exceptions less willingly to stay senator of his state so that he can put forth a progressive vision elsewhere, or one that will continue to be bought off by certain special interests even with a nation's interests at stake too.

Though I will work to make sure that Obama gets elected this fall, I think it's an important shot that NEEDS to be thrust by the progressives to make sure that both Obama and Biden know that they have to work for US, or that we're going to make life difficult for them. Now in the big scheme of things this won't sink their chances of election having to answer this question, but it will serve notice that we EXPECT a certain return on our investment in working to get them both elected president!

If I ever get a chance to ask this question of him come this Fall, then I will try to ask it.

3. Obama also said other things like stopping FISA, etc. that he's gone back on too...

I think this is one issue that now they are a team, when get them on paper as to where they want to go.

If they answer well for progressives I'll be happy and hopefully will be happier in the future if the actually deliver on that, and I'm sure in the meantime the wingnuts will try to claim that Biden is a "flip flopper" on this issue too, but I think it's important to get them to commit to the right direction now, and if need be, have Biden acknowledge that he was making a mistake in the past in pushing it through. If he were to do that, perhaps there are many other "sorry" issues that other Dems will also acknowledge they made mistakes on in the future if it can galvanize the progressives to help get behind them in the future to do the RIGHT thing, not the thing that keeps corporate donors happy.

But if we don't question this sort of thing, it will serve notice that the American public doesn't care when they at times screw them for their corporate benefactors, even if that's not what we truly want.

4. Which is why I think we NEED to challenge both he and Obama on this NOW!
Make it clear to them that there's a cost for pushing this sort of legislation, even though we don't want to keep them from getting elected, make sure that they can't just take us for granted in doing things like this.
