The only drawback to an Obama/Biden ticket...
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 10:56 AM by rucky
is that it doesn't roll off the tongue very well. It's easy to get tripped-up with the "b's"

Still infinitely better than Obama/Bayh, which sounds you're bidding farewell to your Greek grandmother.

Obama/Kaine? Pretty tough-sounding. OBAAAAAMA-KAIIIIINE!. Like a WWF tag-team.

If the VP were to be chosen on the sound of the ticket-name alone, it would've been Obama/Sebelius. Tres chouette!

8. If it came down to an Irish-American swing vote...
we'd have an edge over that Scottish/StarTrek sounding ticket of McCain/Romney

4. Barack and Joe will rock.....
but I like Obama/O'Biden better
Would have loved Barack/Bernie (Sanders) or Barack/Barbara (Boxer) or Obama/Sebelius
But Obama and Biden have my vote!

6. The main drawback is that it isn't the unity ticket polls showed the majority of Democrats wanted.
It constantly amazes me how unaware many GDPers are of that simple fact.

Other than that problem (and only time will tell how much of a problem it is), I like Biden, and Obama/Biden sounds ok. But no better than Obama/Clinton. Or Clinton/Obama. A unity ticket, whichever was the nominee, would have been unbeatable in November.

16. Not the only drawback.
Think of the many who will be temporarily blinded by the glare coming off of their teeth.
