But, it will do nothing for those deadenders who quit listening to her the day she announced her support for Obama.

51. Please. The Obama people trotted out that talking point out AFTER the primaries--because they knew
that the voters would laugh at it and it would cost them votes. So they waited until after the primaries so that there could be no vote to formally repudiate this nonsense.

I can't believe that Democrats are acting like the GOP did in the 90s. Just throw out an accusation and keep delivering it as if it was fact, without a drop of evidence.

28. Well why don't you show us
where or when she has refused to do anything at anytime Senator Obama has asked her to do!

Less than 24 hours after the sudden loss of a dear friend and colleague, she still found a way to fulfill her obligation to Senator obama and appear at a rally on his behalf.

Show us too, where, since her concession on June 7, she has made that statement.

Show us....Please.

I'll be waiting.

Forgetting anything and everything the woman did before June 7, 2008 is exactly what she's hoping for come 2012.

Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 11:58 AM by JTFrog
Hate.
Misogyny.
Sexism.

Surely, those can be the only reasons that I may have to spit out the bitter taste that Senator Clinton has left in my mouth.

35. No she's not. You're arrogantly talking as if everyone is in agreement with your preferred narrative
about a disgraceful, kitchen-sink campaign. But I didn't see it that way, and neither did her voters. Those are just the talking-points of the Obamites, and Clinton supporters feel the same way about Obama's campaign, we just don't whine about it relentlessly, or self-righteously preach about how great we are and shameful the other side is.

You know....this is the real reason why Obamites are upset that Hillary is being honored at the Convention. Not because anything special is being done for her, by historical standards, but because her place of honor repudiates, even belittles, their precious narrative about a shameful campaign that has left her legacy in tatters while she struggles to earn forgiveness and redemption. It makes people saying that look and feel ridiculous, in light of the official presentation.

calling it a suspension is common political practice so as not to slap the candidate's supporters in the face.

33. The claim that Hillary ran a kitchen-sink campaign will be laughed out of the history books. Besides
Obama took some unbelievably negative shots at Clinton, which somehow the Obamites don't find too bad. "She's the master of the broken system," "she's incapable of bringing about change," "she's Bush/Cheney-light."

14. From Huffington Post:
No sooner had word spread of his selection than McCain's campaign unleashed its first attack. Spokesman Ben Porritt said in a statement that Biden had "denounced Barack Obama's poor foreign policy judgment and has strongly argued in his own words what Americans are quickly realizing _ that Barack Obama is not ready to be president."

As evidence, Republicans cited an ABC interview from August 2007, in which Biden said he would stand by an earlier statement that Obama was not ready to serve as president. Hours later, the McCain campaign released a 30-second TV ad featuring Biden's comments from the interview and scheduled the spot for key states.

The New York Senator and former Obama rival calls “her colleague and friend” Biden “an exceptionally strong, experienced leader” in a morning statement.

“Senator Biden will be a purposeful and dynamic vice president who will help senator Obama both win the presidency and govern this great country.”

24. And for good reason...
She is just simply evil, even worse than Bush, Hitler, the Borg, and Satan all rolled into one. Of all the politicians who have EVER run for or held office in the history of the U.S. there was and is nobody half as bad, as calculating, as sickening, as unlikeable, as conniving, as cold, as self-absorbed, as heartless, as ignoble, as treasonous, as shrill, as vain, as selfish, as manipulative, as whiny, as non-fashion conscious, as two-faced, as self-promoting, as untrue to his or her own gender, as power hungry, as backstabbing, as untrustworthy, as racist, as right-wing, as untruthful, as vile, as murderous, as insane, and as dangerous as Hillary Rodham Clinton.

She plans one of three things: either she is going to outright steal the election from under Obama's nose at the convention, or sabotage Obama's chances this year opening the door for her in 2012, or get elected VP and then do a Vince Foster on Obama, and I know this to be true because I heard it on the Randi Rhodes Show.

Now let me reveal the real truth behind all this. Hillary is an alien-human hybrid sent by brain sucking rebels from the Betelgeuse system to harness our flatulence in order to power their nacho factories.

It's all true.....if you want to believe it.

19. Well since Newsweek says she didn't want the job herself, I would expect nothing less.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/154863?GT1=430

In short, Obama behaved like a grownup. Even his much-criticized failure to "vet" Sen. Hillary Clinton means less than meets the eye. I talked two months ago to one of her closest legal advisors, who told me that she didn't really WANT to be considered for the number two job--in no small measure because the process would have required Obama's lawyers to comb through her husband's foundation and its murky sources of income.

In that sense, Obama did her a favor by not really demanding to consider her. She would have had to say "no."
