Ok. Let's say he *did* go with Biden.
In the immediate now, why would he choose Biden?

Because say what you will, Biden has strong political Kung Fu. Alley Kung Fu, not that pretty Olympic stuff. He knows where the weak points lie and he knows how to hit them just right. He knows that the political version of the Hsing Yi move, "Monkey Grabs The Peach", knows how to use it and WILL use it over the course of the campaign. Effectively. He will grab many repuke peaches and squeeze them, Grasshopper.

Over the longer term, should they get elected, Biden has strong foreign policy and defense credentials. He has intelligence experience. He will be a valuable ally in cleaning out the DoJ and making it effective again. He will be able to cast a baleful and experienced eye on that pack of thieves and thugs, DHS.

Biden, if he is the man, will bring many years of experience to the mix that will be sorely needed.

So, if it is Joe...well, we coulda done a lot worse.

1. Biden knows what McCain has done in the senate. He's the perfect attack dog.

2. His foreign policy experience will strengthen Obama's campaign
That is one place that he has been criticized that I don't necessarily disagree with. I know he would be better than *, but that isn't exactly saying much. Biden is chairman of the foreign relations committee and a lot of the leaders call him in times of crisis.
